Donate to Notre-Dame

Notre-Dame needs your help. Having undertaken major restoration work since 2020, the Basilica has already spent over $10 million on this major project and is counting on your generosity to help preserve one of Montreal's most emblematic monuments.

Notre-Dame de Montréal Basilica represents not only the memory of Old Montreal, but also the city's soul. Material and symbolic traces of the city's foundation dating back to 1642 can be found throughout the Basilica. That's why Notre-Dame needs your help. Her stones, flashings, soundboards housed within the belfries and other architectural elements need to be restored to preserve Notre-Dame's exterior façade and the integrity of the building.

Stained-glass windows, walls and gold leaf also represent an important issue for her interior, which will be followed shortly. It is therefore essential to ensure the longevity of Notre-Dame and the continuity of Montreal's heritage for future generations.
