The complete organ work by J. S. Bach
Since the first Sunday of Advent 2016, our titular organist, Pierre Grandmaison interprates the integral organ work of J. S. Bach with the grand organ of Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. It thus presents a colossal feat that will be spread over the three liturgical years A-B and C, and which will highlight the different liturgical periods namely: Advent-Christmas, Lent-Easter and Easter, Pentecost and ordinary time.
These organ pieces can be heard at the various Sunday celebrations of Notre-Dame Basilica, as well as Sunday organ auditions at 10:30 AM.
Everyone is Welcome.
