Québec Solidarity Fund for the Reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral

Montréal, April 17, 2019 – In response to the tragic fire that resulted in the partial destruction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, the administrators of the Fondation de la basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal wish to take tangible action to show their solidarity and Quebec people’s support.

“We are clearly saddened and aggrieved by this immense loss to the heritage and history of the French people and the entire world. This is our way to show our support and help ensure the reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral,” said Pierre L. Baribeau, President of the Fondation de la basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal.

To that end, the Fondation de la basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal is creating the Fonds québécois de solidarité pour la reconstruction de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris [Québec Solidarity Fund for the Reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral].
