This is, without a doubt, the musical event of the autumn. Conducted by Maestro Michel Brousseau, the 200 artists of the Société Philharmonique du Nouveau Monde perform Mozart's Requiem in one of Montreal's most breathtaking settings — the Basilica's nave.
Maestro Michel Brousseau Conducts the SPNM
Conductor, choirmaster and pianist Michel Brousseau is artistic director of the Société philharmonique du Nouveau Monde (SPNM), which includes the Orchestre philharmonique du Nouveau Monde, the Chœur philharmonique du Nouveau Monde - Basses-Laurentides, and the Chœur philharmonique du Nouveau Monde.
From Vivaldi to Mozart, the SPNM offers magnificently conducted classical concerts in a varied repertoire.
