Le Firmament café
Le Firmament café has officially opened its doors in the heart of the basilica. Operated by Café Saint-Henri, this new space allows visitors to extend their experience in an exceptional setting, while helping to preserve the basilica’s heritage. A portion of the profits will be donated to the restoration of the basilica.
Discover Notre-Dame’s musical series, Music O’Clock and reconnect with classical music or jazz. All proceeds go to the Restoration Project, a long term endeavor managed by the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal Foundation.

From the first notes of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel to Rimsky-Korsakov's captivating Christmas Eve, the music transports the audience to a magical world. Berlioz, Vaughan Williams and Price add pastoral warmth and comfort with timeless melodies like 'Greensleeves.' With Mendelssohn and Rutter, audiences are enveloped in radiant music that celebrates the spirit of Christmas.

Help Preserve One of Montréal's Most Iconic Buildings
The Basilica began major restoration work in 2020, which will take over fifteen years to complete. The estimated completion date is around 2040. We have already spent more than 10 million dollars, and your contributions are needed to continue our efforts.
The Basilica's heritage tells a story, the collective story of our ancestors who made the dream of one of the most important neo-Gothic architectural works a reality.
Your donation will enable us to carry out the maintenance and restoration work necessary to ensure the longevity of Notre-Dame so that future generations can also visit and admire it, and soak up its timeless beauty.
For donations of $25 or more, Zeffy will issue an official donation receipt for income tax purposes, which is sent by email. Please make sure to check your junk mail.

Major restoration work on the Basilica began in 2020 and is currently underway. Elements needing restoration include stonework, flashings, bell towers and their sound structures, and other architectural elements to preserve Notre-Dame's exterior façade and the integrity of the building.
